Contemporary dance artist Canan Yucel Pekicten invites us into the hearts of three individual women with her solo performance “All About The Heart” (Yürege Dair). In a striking performance, the artist interprets the stories of three women; each the subject of an opera, and breathes new lives into the Queen in “Der Zwerg Lied”, the titular character in the first Finnish opera "Pohjan Neito" and Cio-Cio-San in “Madama Butterfly” from a woman’s perspective. During three solo performances, we will witness the transformation of these female characters who were initially written from a sexist point of view.
